You Must Be Present to Win
Head Smart's flagship attendance incentive program, You Must Be Present to Win, a collaborative endeavor with the Boca Raton Bicycle Club, awards bikes and helmets for perfect attendance. It includes school wide helmet safety education and free helmets and helmet fitting at no cost to all eligible students.
The program has been shown to increase attendance at participating schools.
After School Programs
Heads Smart brings its unique 30 minute presentation to after school groups in schools and the community. Students will learn why helmets are so critical when cycling. Included in the interactive education are opportunities for children to try on helmets to learn proper fit. Giveaways complete the program.
Parent Education
Heads Smart programs for parents will give them the tools to keep their children safe on bicycles, scooters, skateboards and e-bikes. Parents will learn why the right kind of helmet is important, how to fit a helmet on their child, and how to follow the rules of the road and sidewalk.
For Communities & Municipalities
Presentations
Adult riders are just as vulnerable as children if they fall or have a collision while cycling. Impactful Heads Smart presentations alert riders why even a short trip to the clubhouse without a helmet can be dangerous. Programs include personal histories, helmet fitting, and information on which helmet is the most protective for each type of bicycle. The presentation also covers rules of the road and tips for motorists on how to safely share the road with cyclists.
Health & Safety Events
Heads Smart partners with other safety organizations interested in promoting safe cycling. We have been featured speakers at safety fairs and symposiums. As certified helmet fitters, we also work with organizations to man tables demonstrating different types of helmets.
